The food is solid, about what you would expect from a fast food chain, but not too greasy and fairly cheap. They do pack in a lot of fries compared to the other sides, which is nice.

I stopped here as a recommendation from friends. The restaurant and the drive thru were both busy! Amazing hot dogs and sausages. And the famous chocolate cake is worth saving room for!

I recall a time when Jakes didn't accept credit cards or online orders or have delivery. They stepped their game up in that department. The food is just ok. Their ground beef tacos have big chunks of meat unless you ask them to really chop it. I had their steak nachos recently and while they gave a lot and I love that they make their own chips, they used cheese sauce and I expected real cheese. It also didn't have much flavor to it. Their fries and burgers are good.
