Went to Fountain Square Graeters for some Christmas Eve treats. The staff were so friendly and the manager so attentive, they made the experience very festive! Then a guy came in with his service dog and he and his wife started berating the manager for not recognizing their dog as a service dog and therefore allowed inside. The manager was very graceful about the whole thing, but the wife kept at it. I couldn’t believe how obnoxious they were being on Christmas Eve and towards a staff that probably is only making minimum wage. But I was very impressed by how well the manager managed!

I had tried Graeter’s in pints perched at grocery stores here in NJ, and had always found it a bit too icey and not creamy enough. I preferred brands like Tillamook, which I find much creamier. But on a recent visit to Cincinnati, some friends from the area insisted that I had to try ‘the Original’ Graeters from one of the shops.
I will agree that it was better than the packaged ice cream I had tried before but I’m still not sure it is worth 5 stars. I tried chocolate chip, and while the ice cream was good, I was disappointed with the size of the ‘chips’. They were huge hunks of flaky chocolate. Too big for my liking. One piece took up the entire width of the cup!
In summary, a very good ice cream…but not the best and flavor choice will have a big impact on your assessment.

The staff was friendly and the Ice cream is top notch. I came at night when it wasn’t too busy out so I found parking. If it’s busy at all though good luck finding somewhere to park

Game over - the best ice cream I’ve ever had. It is so rich, dense, and creamy. My flavor recs are black raspberry chip, vanilla, and strawberry - but I need to try more too. You can also sample a couple before making a call, and the team is nice about giving the samples out.

Stopped in for two scoops of delicious ice cream after a Reds game. Line was long but moved quickly. The staff were all very nice and did a great job handling the line while staying upbeat.

One of the best ice cream I've ever had. I tried the summer seasonal Passion Fruit Guava and it was absolutely delicious. They have multiple different flavors, all great, but this one was the absolute best. Great location right on fountain square.

Staff was friendly. Prompt service. Ice cream was very good. Creamy, tasty, lots of “chips” (more like hunks) in my cookie dough. No left overs!! Price was about the same as back home. Not great but not bad. Got a reds helmet cup for the fun of it!!

Graeter's ice cream shop downtown is great! The black raspberry chocolate chip was so flavorful!!! One scoop in a cup= $5 even or 5.25 in a waffle cone.They also have a key lime pie flavor that I'm going to have to try next time. You can get coffee here, donuts, cookies, candy, chocolate, and other goodies too. There's plenty of places to sit inside and you can people watch at fountain square. Pretty cool! ⛲👍🍦🍨💝🍧🍬🍩☕🎀😍

You have to try their Black Raspberry Chip ice cream. I believe it’s one of their best selling flavors. Very courteous staff and quick service. Large scoops so one was more than enough for me. Black Raspberry was little sweet for me.
