Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Awesome atmosphere. Great service, super quick. It was our first time here, and we definitely enjoyed our meals. I got the single American burger, and my husband got the triple American burger with bacon and jalapeños on it with fries. Everything was perfectly cooked. Highly recommend this spot, especially after shopping at Jungle Jim's.

Went there yesterday for the second time. First time was great also I don't remember if I did a review or not. But this time I knew I had to take a minute to say how wonderful our experience was. The burger was one of the best I've ever had! The french fries were awesome as well. The food was out within 5 minutes and was so hot and fresh tasting. I believe our server's name was Chase and she was on top of everything and super friendly to boot. Would definitely recommend the Eastgate location of this restaurant to anyone looking for a quick, excellent meal at a very reasonable price!

Delicious food at a low price! We love the cheesesteaks here. They are large and packed full. They come as a complete meal with a side and drink for under $11! I upgrade my side to a chili cheese fry for only $1.25. These prices are super affordable, especially for families! The theme here is 50's diner. The decor is cute, but in definite need of a refresh. For example, the booth seats are all ripped. You can see where they have tried to repair them with tape that has also split open. I know that with any building upgrades, the cost of the food is likely to go up. So personally, I will take the inexpensive food with worn-out decor....just letting others know what to expect.

Stoped in for a burger and was surprised. We thought this was a fast food place. It’s sit down with an old car theme. I got the double cheese burger my wife got the Philly cheese steak. The food was delicious cooked perfectly. The Philly was the best out of the 2 meals. We got a shake for dessert and it was really delicious. The total meal was 27 bucks. Blaine away at the places price. Super inexpensive We will be back

First off, let me start by saying that the atmosphere was nailed perfectly. I absolutely love diners, and I love the old school diners even more. If you like the old school diner vibe, then this place is for you. The service I received was excellent as well. No complaints in that department. The food, however, was just missing a certain something for me. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad any stretch of the imagination. It was just missing something to really make me want to say, "You gotta go try this!" Maybe I just came on a bad/slow day. Maybe I'm just imagining it. Like I said, the food wasn't bad by any means. Just missing that extra push to be truly amazing. Overall, I would still recommend this place to try if you're ever near-by.

WOW WOW WOW! This place did not disappoint. Food was amazing and the price CANNOT be beat. Our server Chase, was hands down the best ever with our party of 12 people. She was on top of it all and made the visit so much more enjoyable. Seriously don't walk, RUN! Pretty sure we tried everything on the menu and it was all above expectations. We will for sure be back!

When visiting Jungle Jim's from out of town, we were looking for a good burger place and Highway 55 was perfect. The locations was clean, comfortable, affordable, and most importantly the food was excellent. The quality of service has been unmatched. The cheesesteak, onion rings, cheeseburger, and pickle chips were an excellent value and perfectly cooked.
