Gaslight Bar & Grill

We were turned out at Ludlow Garage across the street due to no reservation. Glad they did because we just walked across the street to Gaslight and had a wonderful dining experience. Great wine choices. Schnitzel was great. My wife had salmon linguine and loved it. Brussels sprouts appetizer was wonderful. Service was great. Very safe area. Quite busy as well due to Christopher Cross concert we went to. Just a good time all around. You might want to make reservations however on a concert night. Only reason we got a table was that they had a couple of cancellations.

For our first time eating here (being from California), it was absolutely spectacular. The atmosphere was quiet which was very nice- but the food was AMAZING. And to top it off, our server Richard was a delight. Not only did he make us feel at home at the dinner table, while making suggestions and explaining the local ingredients, but when we had a mix up with our order he fixed it right away without any extra charge. We definitely will be coming back for the delicious food, but we hope to see Richard again too!

This restaurant is close to the zoo and is a fantastic spot to enjoy great food and drinks after a day looking at all the animals. They've got a bunch of different kinds of craft beers, amazing cocktails that taste awesome, and food that's super delicious and unique. The place looks really nice and the people there were prompt and helpful. The best part is that even though it's a fancy spot, it doesn't cost a ton of money, so you can have a nice meal without breaking the bank. Oh, and don't miss out on trying their turkey Reuben and the bacon and fig jam bruschetta! Both were a bit different from the usual, but worth it for sure!
