This place is as great as my first time as a kid in the seventies. Building a professional career since the 80's in downtown Cincinnati it seemed both fitting and nostalgic to celebrate a career milestone for lunch. A Cincinnati staple and favorite!

Red Fox Grill is a wonderful, time-tested restaurant that has stayed true to what it does best for almost 60 years. Mr. Bill and his team offer a delicious and widely customizable menu with the customer service that you'd expect from an invested small business owner that cares!
As someone who does not frequent downtown, but makes it a point to order here whenever I can, I will say that it is well worth the detour on your lunch break to experience the BEST double-deckers, sandwiches, and burgers that Cincinnati has to offer.

I have been patronizing this establishment for over 40 years. When I first started going there the husband and wife ran the business. They were phenomenal. I actually left my job downtown and had not been there for at least 10 plus years. I phoned in a carry out order and his wife always answered the phone and when I said that I needed to place an order, she politely asked is this Clark? I just about fell over as it had been over 10 years since I had been there. They are an amazing family and I can also say that in my over 40 years of going there, they have never messed up my food order. The double deckers are out of this world And who cares that they don’t take credit cards, just carry cash. I absolutely love this place and the family.

The food was good and the prices were fair. A bit of a pain they only take cash. Was a bit of a pain hiking throughout downtown searching for an atm. Great portions and quick service.
