Fun old school bar and restaurant, the food was good, my burger and my wife's sandwich were great (the order of fries were a little small) but overall a good time. As a plus the beer was nice and cold!!

My employer had our Christmas party here. We had the room in the basement. It was the perfect setup. There were a lot of small tables enabling us to all to move around and an open bar to get drinks and order food instead of waiting for them to get to us. The atmosphere was great with typical wood and brick pub accents. I believe the owner of the place waited on us. He was great. I had pizza with goetta on it, unique and very good.

This establishment has a nice ambiance. There are plenty of original menu items. I dined with my two sons, one of them is vegetarian (they have good vegitarian options). I had the fish and chips, which came with a ramshorn style chip that was absolutely delightful. My second son had the Bah bah black sheep burger and was pleased with it as well.

I wish we got our sever/bartenders name. Guy was great! food fantastic! atmosphere is homey and relaxing! My girlfriend and I will he going back time and time again.

Was working in the area and got done early so decided to get local and have a beer with my son. Very glad we did! Walked in and sat down at the bar to eat. Barmaid was very nice and helpful with ordering. The crowd was small but having a good time chatting. We ordered the house burger and wings! Food was great and the beers were cold. Had a good time talking with the other folks at the bar. If in the area, and that is likely, I will be stopping by! Definitely recommend!

I've been here multiple times. The staff has changed since I last came in and things are now better and cleaner and no more jelly jars on tables. Very cozy atmosphere.
