Golden Corral

Clean! The aroma of Mama's kitchen at Thanksgiving hits your senses as you walk through the door. Then your brain goes in a tizzy as you try to decide which of the beautiful choices you want to pile on your plate. Finally, your palate thanks you as settle down and enjoy every tasty bite. The friendly staff, who have been so helpful, offer a cheerful thanks for coming as you leave, wishing you hadn't eaten so much. But, it was just so darn good!

The atmosphere was warm in a cozy kind of way. The staff were attentive to your needs. A variety of different foods to choose from with an endless amount of plates. You are not leaving there hungry! There deserts are enjoyable. Nice to see they have cookies and cream; ice cream! Carpets were dirtier then I would of liked to see but it was the dinner rush.

I admit to being pleasantly surprised. The Sirloin steak I had tonight was better than a $28 steak from a local steak house that I purchased yesterday! Service was excellent, attentive, and very professional. The Manager explained everything to me, as a first time customer, making me feel welcome. Seafood, steak, chicken, pork, roast beef, tri-tips, meatloaf, and much more!

The people that provide their services at this location put a lot of effort and care into everything they do and make. The food is always great. It's opportunity for improvement is the cleanliness of the plates and the bathrooms. If they can eliminate those two lacking areas, they would create a greater confidence among customers. I still give 5 stars b/c I see the care put into the preperation of the dining experience there.

I'm usually not a fan of Golden Corral, but the food was surprisingly good on this trip. I had some amazing steaks that were as good or better than most steakhouses. My family definitely got their money's worth on this buffet. The wait staff was courteous. The restaurant was clean. I would absolutely go here again when I'm in the area.
