Penrose Room

Of the 5 Star restaurants in America (there are only 30) this is the best. For those who do not know, most states do not have a 5 star restaurant. Texas and Colorado only have one each. The food, atmosphere, menu and attention to detail are perfect. A great place to celebrate an anniversary or a special occasion. It does not get any better than this! If you are staying at the Broadmoor this is a must. You need to book reservations a month or more in advance (all 5 star restaurants have very limited seating).

We and another couple had a special evening at Penrose this week. Fantastic experience. We chose the 3 course offering which was plenty of food. We enjoyed the cod after a creative lobster salad, a great steak and salad. The service was outstanding and wine list was huge but offered several price choices. Bring your wallet but sit back and enjoy a great meal.

My wife and I visited this place while spending a weekend at the Broadmoor. This is hands-down the best fine-dine restaurant I have ever been to. The quality of service, food, and everything that you get is so on-par with the price that they charge. We never felt ripped-off (because you seriously cannot) when you receive the check. Simply outstanding! No wonder it is rates one of the best 5-start properties in the world!

I took my mother there for her 85th birthday. It was an excellent choice for her special day. The staff went out of their way for us, and the service was superb!! The food was excellent, presented beautifully, and was served exactly on time. The three piece band was nice, but a little loud. The artwork looked out of place, but the restaurant was decorated very nice overall. I highly recommend the Penrose Room!!!
