Service and atmosphere make up for the lack of seasoning. Everything is cooked well but VERY bland. It’s a nice experience with a cute shop attached but I would bring my own sauce/seasoning packets if I were to return.

Recently went for the first time. Specifically went to try the Nashville hot chicken and was quite disappointed in it... The chicken was not spicy AT ALL. Need to go back to the drawing board on that spicy hot chicken recipe.
Everything else was good. Really enjoyed the apple butter. But yea... nashville hot chicken from KFC was literally better.

we've gone numerous times but 1st time on a Friday Night which they serve chicken fried steak in addition to the regular menu. Highly Recommend them! Biscuits & Apple Butter! Yummy

Had my birthday celebration there last night. Absolutely will be back. We had a total of 8 people the service was great and they handled everything perfectly. The food was amazing this was the BEST CHICKEN FRIED STEAK we've had in Colorado.

Super cool old traditional dinner joint. We ate in. They serve everything family style with a very condensed menu and have been around since 1951, so what they serve has got to be great, and it is! Super service and the 70 seat venue is really nostalgic, with cool old art and antique motif. We'd be happy to go back any time. Get a reservation or you'll be waiting some time!

First of all, make reservations, we didn't but thankfully a group didn't show & we got their table! Izzy and the staff were great, she explained the family-style meal and all were helpful & efficient. Our meal was also great, we got a few options so we could all share our entrees & dessert. Unfortunately we don't live close enough to return, so enjoy your meal & service.

Delicious food from scratch and an amazing atmosphere. Had a wonderful Father's day dinner. We had the ham and skillet fried chicken. No complaints about any of the food and the service was quick! Definitely make a reservation and make sure you go HUNGRY. The only part of the meal you can take to go is the chicken and biscuits. Plus they refill all your food if you want more!

Such a relaxing and great dinner experience. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The food was amazing fresh and can tell it was cooked from scratch with love. Was a great overall experience. If u are looking for fresh homemade cooking this is the place to be.!!

Great out of the way restaurant. First time here. The food was delish. Service was attentive, when you finish a dish they bring a fresh one to your table! Price is inclusion per person, cocktails are separate pricing. The choice of eats are Chicken or Ham, with their great sides. Will do a return visit. The grounds are actually their working homestead. Awesome experience.🏠👍
