Coal Mine Dragon

Like many local folks, a regular since 2002, I was surprised to see that the old comfortable buffet was missing. I took a moment to soak in their re-imagined seating surrounded by warm tangerine and ebony, large flat screens and modern traditional decor. The sushi bar was alive with color (a vast improvement upon the soda and storage area) and my 2 roll lunch special arrived quickly, was affordable, filling, and delicious. The Team members were helpful and friendly, and I'm sure they receive many "I've been coming here since the brothers owned it" stories! Buffet days may be over- but I can't wait to sample everything they offer over time.

The food is very good here. My wife had Sweet and Sour chicken, which was light and fluffy and I had kung pao chicken, which was a bit too sweet for my taste but still very tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive. We recommend and hope you enjoy too. Update: They recently remodeled the restaurant. It's very nice inside and they added a real sushi bar with chef and one can eat at the counter. We ordered the usual Chinese food and I ordered a California Roll. It was good too. Need to go back and try full blown sushi. Check them out and let us know what you think.

I'm excited to see a new revision of an old hidden gem and the expanded menu. Ordered a quick takeout from the classic Chinese side of the menu and discovered we were missing an entree. It was close to closing, so we called right back, and the owner went to great lengths to make it right. With that kind of customer service, we will be sure to return. Can't wait to try the sushi and hibachi!
