A lack of real ale (even in bottles) but the Guinness was ok .

Service not so good and dodgy. I ordered a Jameson whiskey with an original coke and asked twice if it was definitely an original cola, I was told it was. The lady went somewhere and brought a glass of whiskey. Why didn't she pour that whiskey in front of me behind the bar??? She then added "Original Coke". When I tried this drink, I thought I was going to throw up. Original Coca was definitely not original (I can't drink soda with sweeteners) and the whiskey was definitely not Jameson. I definitely question the competence of the staff behind the bar and I wonder if the owner knows about it.

Large pub with lots of outdoor seating. Not my favorite beers but hey ho. Friendly staff and can get busy.

Beautiful place to visit. The landlord and landlady are very welcoming. The bar staff are all polite and helpful. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town..
