Rahn donated 16 bags of rolls to our nonprofit, Genie's Wish, to help families have dinner for the holidays. They have delicious breads and treats and are in a lovely spot inside Webster street market. I highly recommend them!

I went to his stand at 2nd street Market today and got a Cinnamon Apple Snail which was essentially a croissant with apple fritter filling. It was FANTASTIC! I ate the entire thing without setting it down. Light and flakey, as a croissant should be. Buttery with a sweet glaze on top! I also bought a loaf of Pumpernickel which i have yet to try but I'm looking forward to after the snail.

We went to the second street market today for the first time. While there we got a jumbo and large pretzel as well as croissants ciabatta bread and some cookies. Everything was amazing. I cannot recommend them enough. Can't wait to go back and by some more.

I think Rahn makes one of the best (if not the best Croissant's in Dayton). I recommend that he makes some more interesting pastries. Perhaps tackle the Kouign-Amann? Similar to Croissant but oh so yummy and different. I would love to see Rahn tackle this... as he has proven himself to be an expert Croissant maker. Please :)?
