Donuts To Go

You can see my old review below. I don't know what has been up with this place recently. Twice in the last month we have come during normal business hours and they have been closed. I'm talking 9AM/930AM. No one answers the phones. When they have been open, they only have 2 or 3 types of doughnuts to choose from. Super disappointed. Great donuts and friendly staff. My husband also got a breakfast sandwich and he said it was pretty good. You can get a whole container of donut holes for $1.49 which was great for the kids to split. We will definitely be coming back soon!

My wife and I get donuts from this place every Sunday morning. I would go here any day of the week over your corporate donut shops like Dunkin Donuts. Their menu varies by the day so do not be disappointed if you don't see a specific specialty donut when you're there. They simply may not make it on that particular day. Example: on Saturdays they make specialty donuts with peanut butter/peanuts. On Sundays they make specialty Red Velvet donuts.

This used to be the best donut place around with friendly service and great quality and selection. Today was was terrible however. I arrived around 8:15 and there was maybe a selection of 5 different kinds of donuts and over half of the donut case was empty. I heard plastic rustling from the back and someone said "hello, can I help you?" Without ever coming out to the counter or even stop rustling the plastic. I'm not going to tell my order through the kitchen door! A second gentleman walked into the store and still, nobody came to the counter. After reading through other reviews, this seems like a trend that DtoG is slipping in the two categories that made them great, service and selection. And obviously they are not reading their customer reviews!

Used to be a great shop for an assortment of delicious donuts. Unfortunately there are new owners who appear to have a different business plan. Now the selection Is minimal when there are donuts at all. Went there on Friday at 8:15 a.m. and found less than 3 dozen available; no specialty donuts and only glazed and a few old fashioned. How does a donut shop run out of donuts by 8:15 in the morning? Not the first time that the selection has been this limited. The previous owners would have had all the display cases filled with a great selection. Bought a dozen of what was available and later found that most were day old! That's not the first time they sold yesterday's donuts today. Can't understand why someone would buy a successful business and then look for ways to cut back on product and service. And I'm not the only person to notice the change. A couple of other donut lovers have mentioned how disappointed they are with the changes to the shop. All in all I guess I'm going to have to buy from Dunkin Donuts where I know there will at least be fresh donuts for sale. Unless the new owners are willing to make some serious changes fairly soon I wouldn't be surprised to see them out of business in the not too distant future. Too bad!

This place is awesome! Besides the fact that they have unusual flavored donuts that are phenominal, they are just really really nice people there. I called on Christmas eve eve about 15 minutes before I was due to arrive and needed a couple of dozen donuts for gifts for my mechanic shop. I'm a truck driver so I didn't have either a lot of time or space which I let them know about. They not only got them ready, knowing why I needed them, they wrapped them in ribbons! Definitely something that is small-town charm that you just don't find anymore! Make this a place to stop and try a donut and coffee if you have a lazy Sunday morning or friends from out of town or anytime!
