Green Ginger Asian Fusion Restaurant

I’ve been here numerous times and is my go to spot for sushi! Location: it’s located in downtown Decatur area. Very ideal for a day date as in its numerous shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Ambiance: it’s not too big but the dim lighting in the inside and the outdoor patio which is good for any weather (they have heated lamps when it’s cooler) makes for the perfect date spot. This time I ordered sushi, spring rolls and a drink at the bar. I have NEVER had a bad sushi experience here. They usually have drinks specials, which I had the Georgia Peach Martini for $5. Don’t forget to check in on yelp to receive a free order of spring rolls. I’ve also had their Thai and Chinese dishes and neither disappoints and portions are generous. I’ll continue to be a customer!

I ate there in the dining room before the pandemic and had a great experience. I recently ordered online, and it was ready by the time I got there (20-25min later) and easy to just walk up to pick up the order. The food is delicious with a lot of variety. My favorite dish is the Thai Spicy Basil dish, but the coconut soup is also great, and curry was tasty.

Ordered ahead, got there, waited an additional 40+ mins. The way they’re running their little patio for ordering does NOT follow social distancing guidelines. We were all on top of each other waiting for orders. They have one poor soul out front trying his best to placate everyone. Also heard someone mention that all the tips are given to the manager and not the actual servers so that was disheartening. I won’t be back.
