Imperial Of China Restaurant

I have ordered from the Redan location many times. The food has always been fantastic, hot and plentiful. Today was horrible. Thr shrimp fried rice was burnt, it seems they used small brined shrimp instead of their normal large ones, and was coated with tons of soy sauce, as if to mask what was wrong. Too burnt, too salty and wrong kind of shrimp. Their sweet and sour chicken had a lot of non breast pieces (gristly or fatty pieces) and tasted terrible. The egg rolls were equally horrible, couldn’t even discern any cabbage filler, they were so dark inside. Everything today was so out of the norm that I called to see if they had a new chef!

I was highly disappointed with the food. I ordered braised wing with vegetable fries rice. The wings were a joke! They were so small, over fried and no real meat on the bone to deel like you were eating chicken wings. They took forever to make it. I will NEVER buy food from this place again or reccomend it to my worst enemy!!!!!

I always order from them on Uber eats, cause I'd been looking for a Chinese food place since I've moved to Decatur. Food is always good and warm and you get a decent amount. I personally like the sweet and sour shrimp and chicken and the hot and sour soup. A great food place on the East side. I highly recommend them!!! Imma miss them when I move lol.
