Everyone in our party loved there dishes plus the show while making each dish with fire on the table awesome!!!! Sorry no pics to dark camera Anyway fantastic place.... Even prepared dishes separately fish plates and steaks also tons of fried rice....... Again fantastic the cook worked magic with fire off the table... So until next time Happy trails folks.... Hana Japan Steak House serves dishes cooked in the Teppanyaki style (grilled on a metal table) in front of us and served. We enjoyed a Birthday Celebration with grandkids. We ordered Mai Tai, Plum Wine, Saki Sampler, Apple Juice for drinks and meal comprised of Fried Rice prepared in front of us by Chef Phillips with our choice of Chicken, Jumbo Shrimp, Salmon, Lobster, Steak and Scallops. He also kept the children entertained with his acts. They presented us a Pineapple shape cake as Birthday gift. The cuisine was delicious with large helpings. The staff are great and helpful.

I met some old friends here recently and we had an amazing time! The woman who was fulfilling the host role(I regrettably do not remember her name but she was a beautiful lady with a radiant smile. I *think* she is the owner, but I'm not certain. It was hard to hear!) was so kind and gracious, and our chef made things fun and exciting but we still felt we could catch up with each other during the meal. Our food was cooked precisely to order and was so tasty I've been dreaming about it since. The portions were huge - enough that I stuffed myself there and still had plenty for lunch the next day. It's not inexpensive, but I definitely didn't expect that it would be. It's a really nice special occasion place and I'll definitely be back!

I Had the Best Birthday Dinner Ever! This place is So Amazing, Fun Energetic and so Friendly that you don't want to leave! I highly recommend this place, for your Birthday celebration. It's so Worth it!!! P.s Liana our Servant is so Sweet, caring and always on top of her game. She will take care of you, like her own family! I full respect everyone in that Restaurant! Our Chef Carlos - Burrito Man! He made my Birthday FUN, Existing and Adventures! He's so Funny and he knows how to cook the foods! Every Taste buds I felt when I first took a bite of his cooking, was like Fire Works! It was So Delicious! I have to Request for him again. If not, then this fine, I'll have one of his Buddies! 🤣🥳🎂❤️😍

What an awesome place. It was a bit of a wait. Our reservation was for 7 and no one came to the table to cook till 745. But... the staff apologized for the wait and they were nice. The cooks were great, the food was delicious. I ordered lobster and shrimp! Delicious. They had a lot of fun drinks too. The place seems a little outdated but there is lots of parking and maybe another location in Berkeley closer to me. I will be super excited to go back for the birthday deal! Oh and the wings were delicious!
