Sunny Street Cafe

We were able to call in to put my name in the list which was nice. The food was great and the portions were great sized. Our server was nice and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that we were asked to wait outside in the cold for our seats which I understand in the time of covid but and due to the size of the waiting area, but something should be done about it for the future.

Great breakfast spot. The waitresses really get to know you, your likes and dislikes, and your favorite order. We love the pumpkin pancakes which are usually only available in the fall. The Sunny Street Benedict is a treat, especially want to avoid salty ham, which is replaced with baby spinach leaves. The breakfast quesadilla is large enough to feed two, which my wife and I occasionally split. They also have occasional specials like cheddar bacon cornbread pancakes. And for a northern restaurant, their grits are pretty darn good. While there are other Sunny Street locations, and they are very good, this one owned by Ash and Kate is the best.
