The Cask Taphouse And Grill

Not the best experience dining out. My burger was a good medium until I got to the center was nearer to rare. It was also overpowered with too much blue cheese. I do like the taste of blue cheese. The Brussel sprouts were well grilled, but someone was too heavy handed with the balsamic vinegar. The service was friendly and quick even though it was a busy night. I doubt I will return.

Nice atmosphere with a fair menu and looks like a good place for drinks with the buds but, that's where the nice, fair and good ends. Tried the Grilled Portobello but the vinegar was so strong that you had no chance of tasting the portobello, the peppers were cooked to mush and the rice was dry and undercooked (hard in the center), I can overlook one or 2 of these from a bar focused restaurant but all 3 and I just described 95% of the meal. Quite often for me the staff can save the show as I understand the kitchen can have it's off dishes just as the wait staff can have it's off tables, but no luck here, our server was clearly forced friendly and offered no follow-up with our table after the food was delivered, when she finally stopped by and we asked for the check it took nearly 10 minutes due to her wrapping silverware, I can understand wanting to get the job done and go home on time but ignoring tables to do closing tasks a hour and ten minutes closing is not good customer service in my book.
