I was so pleased with my entire experience at The Filling Station. I came during covid era. They were meticulous with keeping the place accessible while following all protocols and only offering take out. I felt completely comfortable. Peter and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Everyone was wearing a mask. Quick service. Good prices. I am certain to return. In fact I did return many times! It was a great experience and fab atmosphere. I can’t think of one complaint. Great!

I went here on a school trip to Edinburgh with a group of 24 people, we visited the Filling Station for lunch while we had free time in the city. I gotta say that I had an absolute blast. The restaurant was packed do it had a humble feeling to it, the waitresses were very nice and the food was amazing. Most likely the best Mac and cheese I've ever had. If I'll ever visit Edinburgh again I'll definitely be eating here again. Surely worth your time and money!

My good god!! This place is insane! Okay - from the beginning we was greeted to our seats by a very polite young lady named Jessica. She openly asked without hesitation if any of us has allergies to which one of us has a really bad strawberry allergic reaction on the skin. Therefore she made the upmost best effort to make sure everything including the drinking glass we drank from was thoroughly cleaned. Then out comes the food! Now I’ve tasted pizzas all my life but this beats the lot! The taste is remarkable and has opened up taste buds I never knew I had! Then the chocolate fudge brownie for after, WOW!! I’m not going to spoil it for you. The aftercare watching the team clean down seating from previous diners was beyond excellent. I admire the fact they cleaned down the seating cubicals more than once to make sure they cleaned every last inch! I fully recommend this place to eat in. As expected there may be times where the restaurant may be busy, but I wouldn’t let this turn you down. If your having a trip to Edinburgh I would sure make this one of your stops! The prices are very reasonable also!
