Anchor Bar

I took a couple employees here for lunch today we had the crab dip as an appetizer, plus fish and chips and a BLT as entrees, and a huge selection of wings. I visited the original location in Buffalo NY back in the early 80s and well this is even better. Great selection of dishes to choose from and well my waitress was AWESOME. I have never had such good service at a bar! I will be going back to try other dishes and I hope to leave room for desert next time. One last thing I lived in London in the late 60s and well the fish and chips is the best I have had since leaving London and I have looked for great fish and chips for years with no luck, this will be my go to for sure!

Anchor Bar is phenomenal!!! This gem is located right across from the mall. Their menu is vast and the food is top tier quality. Not only is the food divine, but their wait staff are one of a kind. They take their time, have profound knowledge of the menu like the back of their hand, and always come by your table with a smile. This makes for an amazing experience because they are not only thorough, but can easily make recommendations. Today, I brought my mom and I had the pleasure of having Genesis as our waitress. There are not enough kind words to describe this woman. She stays actively bouncing from table to table while training a trainee. She is punctual, attentive, and hospitable. I cannot recommend this place enough. Not to mention their drinks are incredible and they don’t skimp. If you haven’t been here before you need to put it on your agenda.

I've been here 3 times so far. The staff is always nice and personable and the food is great. Obviously, I recommend the Buffalo wings, which is their signature food, but their pizza is really good, too. It tastes like the pizza I would get as a kid in rural Buffalo. You probably won't get any better Buffalo wings in Maryland. The only good competitors are the Buffalo wings in Buffalo, lol.

Great place, great food, great people. My Waitress Claudia was excellent. She always is, and I intend on coming back as many times as possible just so that I can be sat in her section again. Highly recommend this place. Everything on the menu is excellent and worth the price; if you're worried about the price, the food's good for the money you pay. Again see Claudia. She'll hook you up; she'll make sure you have good food and a good time, and she's always quick with refill and friendly with a chat.

OMG. The food is amazing. The customer service is amazing as well. They are very understaffed so, they might skip over you for a while accidentally but , they make sure that they do the best they can. They have milkshakes now and they are just delicious. My second time going there and I've ordered the same entree both times. Old Bay wings. 10/10 .

I got the Tuesday wing special ($1 each). The wings were good. The service was ok. Prior to eating I went to the men's room. There was no soap. I told my waitress there was no soap. She said that someone would take care of it. About twenty minutes later I went back into the men's room after eating and there was still no soap. This is unacceptable.
