I am soooo disappointed! I always come to this location when I order Hawaiian food and this time I ordered for pick up and got home, sat down to eat and as my boyfriend was eating we found this piece of metal in the food under his short ribs and on top of the macaroni salad... we immediately called the restaurant to tell them and all he said was we can bring the food back and get refunded..... then asked his boss and the boss said the same thing... the guy working the register was amazing taking my order and his customer service was great! Definitely not his fault... I'm just like do you really expect me to bring back a plate that has already been almost finished... and ruin everyone else's dinner while our food gets cold in that whole process??! I don't understand and you would think they would've offered to do more! If my boyfriend wouldn't have seen it and just ate it... then what? We would have sued them for sure! Definitely won't be coming back to this location any more! For the price of the plates and spending over $50 you would think they would've have tried to offer something especially with how often we eat here!!!

I am From Hawaii & even the L&L there has the same sad food. I can tell that its not a native islander who showed them how to cook.If u have lived or stayed in HI for a while you can tell Its some corporate mash up of poor choices in the ingredients & recipes are a Asian mash up. Too much mayo on the mac salad, Lau Lau is all fat w/ banana leaf over taro. Tastes to sweet not savory, not enough real smoke. Buy some wood chips or a smoke machine & use Taro & Tea leaf & then banana leaf if u have too. Once in a while u will find a nice clean one who knows how to add to cook good...but u know how to make Hawaiian BBQ/ mix plates? Hire a hawaiian at each store & get some poi & lomi lomi! Loco Moco's are mostly decent, rice is always good! L&L tastes more.like Chinese buffet food. just taste the "Japenese" Katsu sauce thats brown instead of red. We add ka spash of ketchup to it &sp it's sweet on that dry katsu with no panko crust. And where's the chili pepper water? Its like eating at a shady taco truck, it smells good, your really hungry...just not sure what the outconewill be.. ll eat it but its 1 star food. Hire locals & get rid of that hideous yellow sign. Tastes good if your 🥴 drunk or starving.

I love LnL bbq. But this is the worst one i have ever been to! Just now, i walked in and stood at the counter for over 10 minutes and no one was in site. No cook no front of house. I called the store 5 times while in the store. Finally i yelled hey as loud as i could and finally someone came to greet me. They charge extra for katsu sauce. The customer service is horrible.
