Chaat Cafe

The papri chat is good. The samosa chana chat with samosa on the side was great. But the second time they gave very little Chana. Apparently if you tip the workers don't get it. So we should keep that in mind. I really wouldn't like to patronize a place which snags their little bonuses from the workers, but I guess the workers need us to keep their jobs going too.

Good for a simple Indian meal! The curries are delicious, rice fluffy and naan bread is fresh! Prices are good for simple Indian food This is not a fancy restaurant but a great place for a simple meal! Surrounding are clean and simple! Ordering is at the counter and brought out to the table! It is next to Sprouts market - good place for dinner before grocery shopping! Parking is plentiful nearby! Sometimes we go for lunch which has the same menu! They make a great samosa and two of them are filling!

I love dropping into this casual little place. I should start by saying I have limited experience with Indian food. Most of my experience has been that the food is too spicy hot. I find their butter chicken is perfect for my taste preference -- a little spicy but within my range -- and wonderfully tasty. Everything is very casual, you order at the counter, you pick up your napkins silverware and water, put your number on your table, and they deliver your food to your table. The meal is cooked to order including the naan which comes to your table still hot (no not warm --hot). If you come when it is busy you may have a wait. Once, I tried their goat curry and they adjusted the recipe to use a milder sauce. It worked out very well for me.
