Firehouse Subs

I used to love this place. Don't get me wrong, the sandwiches are very good - if you eat them right away. I never finish all of mine, and I hate to say that something about the sandwich just never tastes right when I try to eat it a little bit later. The service is great, and they put a decent amount of meat on your sandwiches. Our daughter loves it there, so I guess it's just me. Enjoy.

I eat here at least once a week and only get one sub. It probably is the only place in a college town that is never crowded. Don't use the app it is complete garbage, make sure to order there. Staff is always friendly with their programmed "Welcome to Firehouse!", and the wait time isn't ever that long.

Great customer service! Manager answered my call after an order was delayed by grubhub, and was very kind explaining the situation. Even remade our subs after we complained about the time delay from grubhub, so they would be hot. Recommend using a different delivery service, but Firehouse Subs here in Gainesville is awesome!

Constant mistakes on food here, probably because the employees are to busy talking about their personal lives. Just last night even (10/18/18), me and my girlfriend had our toppings mixed up by the employee on our subs. When i brought the subs up to explain the situation, I got an eye roll. Instead of listening to how they were wrong, the subs were taken and thrown straight in the trash in front of me. Then i was asked to repeat the whole order again. I explained that my girlfriend wanted cucumbers, mayo and lettuce on her club-on-a-sub and that I wanted lettuce and onion on my hook and ladder. After another 10 or so minutes we got our food with the exact same issues as the first time, (lettuce,mayo and cucumbers on hook and ladder and lettuce onion on the club) whats worse is we were one of only maybe 8 customers that came to that location while we were there. By this time we no longer had time to wait for another remake, so she ate my sub and I had nothing because i hate mayo and cucumbers. We then talked to a manager who didn't seem very caring and offered us very little for our troubles. After this last experience I really do not think I can bring myself to ever go back.

Went in to the University Ave location on my lunch break. Placed ONE sub order at 11:09am and didnt receive my sub untill 11:26am?? Not to mention a female came in behind me and she received her sub before mine came out. Never have i waited longer than a few mins for my sub so to say i was DISAPPOINTED with the lengthy wait is an understatement. At least my hook n ladder tasted good (lobby only had 3 total customers)
