Frogs Organic Bakery

Thank youuuu! I moved to Pasadena recently and have been trying in vain to find a good quality croissant and came across Frogs at the South Pasadena Farmers Market. Nice to know I can come find you all on Thursdays! Good quality laminated dough / Viennoiserie where it is flaky and crispy outside and a bit more tender while not being flat and bland or soggy on the interior!

Amazing baked products from quiches to breads. Made with organic flour, their Croissants are rich and flakey. Chocolate / Almond Marzipan filled croissants are the most prized by all. Just had their Apricot Custard croissant this morning. My new favorite. Had their quiches on an earlier visit. Really lovely, light, perfectly baked. If you go there, introduce yourself to Eliza. She is in the front of the house (usually on the weekends and on some week days). She knows her products and is great to work with if you need a recommendation or to place an order. Tip- get there early, else you may not get the items that you want. Be prepared to wait in the occasional line as they have a small counter/lobby. As I need to see before I buy, I try to get there early. As I get familiar with their products, I will move to placing orders.

Oh my gosh the bred is so good, and it's not expensive, everything is organic, for me it's definitely worth the drive from long beach. Little Easter egg, the show appeared in Lucifer from Netflix, in the farmers market episode, you can see them in the background, that's the main reason why i come every day.
