The Bearded Dogg Lounge

Excellent food and service! If you've had enough fast food, chain restaurants or bar food, then this is the place for you. I wasn't as hungry as my friends, so I had the French Onion soup and the Roasted Beet salad. The soup was flavorful without being too salty. The salad had a delightful mix of greens, regular and golden raisins, feta cheese and of course, beets, which were yellow beets definitely not canned beets. My friends had the Crispy Salmon served over quinoa, which they said was excellent. The decor was eclectic but fun. Our server, Jenna, made the evening by paying exactly the right amount of attention. Jenna didn't hover nor did she seem to forget about us. This was my first indoor dining experience in Gaylord since moving here a few months ago, and it's the first time I have dined indoors anywhere in over a year. It was worth the wait - The Bearded Dogg did not disappoint!

I've eaten at the Dogg a few times now; I order something different each time and I haven't been disappointed yet. One of the last times, I had this dish...Peposo, I think. Loved the spiciness and the meat was really tender, would highly recommend. A friend of mine is a huge fan of their quiches too. That being said, the prices can get up there a bit, but I found the service and quality of the food outweighed the cost. Keep up the great work!

What a great find.. Tucked back in and easy to drive by but you don’t want to miss this place. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the food goes above and beyond for a town of this size. Everything is unique and gourmet. I had the bison short ribs over polenta with spicy creme sauce. Best short rib dish I have ever had. Toasted Angel food cake with a fruit compote and peanut butter whipped cream for dessert was amazing!! The chef here is obviously very talented and innovative. The great service matches the great food. Extremely friendly and attentive. Do not miss dining here when in Gaylord!!!!!

The menu was so unique and unexpected. I was just stopping by on a road trip and was very happy I picked this place! Their brunch looked amazing but is only on Sundays, I'd love to come back. I ordered the meatball appetizer and a small hot spinach salad. Both were amazing. Never thought polenta and meatballs would be a nice combo. All fresh. Well thought out menu. I was impressed! Eat here!

Absolutely blown away by the food, service, and atmosphere. One of the better meals I've had in a long time. A very unique menu, and everything on it is made in house. SO GOOD! The chef should be commended for keeping the price point low enough so that many people have the opportunity enjoy such an amazing dining experience. I really wish I remembered our server's name, she was fantastic and deserves a shout-out too! Can't wait to go back.

#1 New & Amazing! The food is next level! Great attention to details that make the dining experience phenomenal! #2 Wonderful friendly service. Went for dinner & came back the next day for an awesome Sunday brunch! Mimosa flight & Shaksuka were only 2 of the many highlights! Dinner? Go with the buffalo steak- pure perfection, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything John & Diane have to offer in their newly envisioned gem! Bravo!

The food overall was very good and the service was great. The prices were on the high end but the food was higher quality than most other restaurants. My only disappointment was the grilled cheese sandwich that came with the tomato bisque. As an adult entree, I expected something better than a single slice of American cheese. Clearly the restaurant has other cheeses they could use.
