High Orchard

We use the High Orchard quite often. It is a great pub, very friendly staff and great food. Yesterdays visit was for a family meal which was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us, the staff accomodated us and changed the seating plan to suit as there were nine of us including two babies. Nothing is too much trouble here to ensure a good experience. Carvery was great value as always. I would recommend the pub to anyone whether you want a quiet drink or a large family get together. Thank you again to all the staff at the High Orchard.

Restaurant manager seated us quickly. Unfortunately the waitress stood at her station with her back to us and we didn't know if we needed to pay for carvery at table. So husband asked her and she said ''yeah" you can do it and order drinks at the bar'. We done that. Then when we got sat back down we had no cutlery!. The food was gorgeous with plenty of meat! Shame about the waitress who seemed very unattentive. I didn't leave a tip which is very unusual of me. .

Booked table for 12pm got served at the bar very quick went up to carvery straight away lovely fresh veg and meats very tender and not fatty I like going when it is quite and not busy staff friendly and polite had a lovely hour sat eating the carvery in peace and no loudness of the restaurant will definitely be booking table around this time again we’ll done everyone

Very hot day but the staff and the establishment were well prepared with all windows and doors open and a resultant cool breeze within the building. The service was excellent from start to finish and the food & drink was perfect. We were very well looked after by two young ladies but I didn't note their names unfortunately. Our only regret was that we weren't offered the opportunity to include a gratuity on our bill (which we settled by debit card) and none of us had any cash to show our appreciation for the wonderful service.

Went for a meal with my partner and children this evening. Upon arriving it was busy due to the football but the staff were excellent with the speed of service,within 5 minutes I'm sat at table with my drinks. The children played In the children's area whilst waiting for food and kept them entertained the time waiting for food which was less than 15 minutes from ordering. Overly satisfied with the quality of the food and the fair price in this economy. Amazing service from an amazing team,will definitely be returning!
