Twin Peaks

Got seated pretty quickly. Our waitress, Alexis was very helpful, personal, and a joy to speak to. She was very sweet, kept our drinks filled, and kept checking on us. I understand most people go to Twin Peaks to stare at the beautiful women and yes, our waitress was stunning. The ladies are very kind and respect all the patrons. The food was great, service was fast, and the wait staff are lovely. Better than Hooters 😉 , will be coming back for more pickle shots too!!

This is not your mother’s restaurant! Driving through Greenville got us stopping for lunch at my wife’s suggestion. Neither one of us had been here before. Rustic lodge theme with open floor with stone dressed bar and fireplace, woodsy style tables and chairs, bare logs and a slew of big screen TVs. Large wrap around porch with knotty log railings, an additional bar and many more TVs. Oh, did I mention the “Twin Peaks” girls? Young, friendly women in revealing attire to further heighten your appetite. Our server, Tindell, was very personable and professional. With a very complete made-from-scratch menu featuring smashed and seared to order burgers, in-house smoked ribs, hand-breaded wings and the coldest 29-degree beer on tap, I was more than pleased with my Blackened Fish tacos. Chunks of grilled wild caught cod, slaw, lettuce, jalapeno honey vinaigrette, sour cream, pico de gallo and cilantro wrapped in flour tortillas. Tortilla chips, queso and salsa came on the side. The food was well prepared with fresh ingredients, seasoned and flavorful and cost comparable to similar establishments. I will say this will be a once in a lifetime experience.

Second time here in 1 week of my visit. The first visit I ordered the Salmon with veggies. It was OK. Because I had to modify my diet it tasted just fine. If I was eating regularly I would've preferred a little more seasoning. For dessert I ordered the Apple Turnover, OMG it tasted so good. I love that it wasn't overly sweet. I went back the second time just to order it again. The server staff were friendly. Over all my friend and I enjoyed it.

Addendum: The manager happened by our booth before we left and asked us how everything was and I was truthful and told him my thoughts. I told him the whole situation wouldn't have been so bad if the servers hadn't all been lined up at the window talking. He gave us a free meal for the two of us the next time we come. I personally won't be going back, but I'm sure one of my children will enjoy the opportunity. Very unimpressed! Major disappointment. The hostess wasn't impressed with our request for a booth instead of the high top she wanted us to take. Approximately 50 people with about 10 servers and our server comes over, gets our appetizer and drinks order then brings the food. We tell her we are going to order after we eat the appetizer. We don't see her again until we are done with the appetizer. We decide we aren't going to bother with food and ask for the check. No salt or pepper and no "do you need anything." We will not be back.
