Cateran's Buffet Restaurant

Very good. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Had pried chicken, fried fish, turnip greens, fried okra, peach cobbler, and a salad. The salad had Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, cheese, banana peppers, eggs, and french dressing. Plus the meal comes with a tea, all for 11 dollars. Never have I went back for seconds. Way too full after the first course.

My 16 year old daughter just got braces. Her mouth hurt but she was hungry. So I took her here for dinner. Thinking their Clientele was mostly seniors and they would have soft but good foods. Man was I surprised! Not just a place for seniors!! They did have everything to make her happy, plus so much more! Their fried chicken might just be the best in Greenville. All the food was fresh and you could tell home made.. their banana pudding! Sooo good… how this place isn’t super busy every night of the week is beyond me…

I have not eaten here for at least 20 plus years. I must say it has not changed a bit. Chicken is still about the best and their fried catfish is really good. Choice of meats was kinda slim pickins' but the fried okra is the bomb. I advise calling ahead to see what is on the menu so you won't be disappointed at the selection when you go. I say try it out and see what you think. Service was great.
