This place is: Southern home cooking & Italian -perfect for the frequent dinner. - a meat and 3 type cafe. -handle groups if you call ahead and tell them the # in your party. -keep the place very clean. - waitresses and staff are great. -have dine-in & take-out. For take-out they have a menu line you can call. And then you call on a different line to order. - hours are listed on Google. The Family favorites are: - vegetable dishes because they're well seasoned. - broccoli casserole, squash casserole, cabbage casserole -mushroom swiss burger. -potato salad & coleslaw. -Greek salad with homemade dressing (best in town) -country fried steak -Western omelette -club sandwich -turkey and dressing -chicken livers - spaghetti & Biscuits and gravy The pandemic seems to have made people forget about it, so that means it is not so crowded. Ideal for dinner Wednesdays, Thursday & Friday evenings

Save yourself the trouble. It's not what it once was when Gus was actually there. Chopped steak wasn't meat at all. The macaroni and cheese was so dry it couldn't be chewed or swallowed. And the staff...yikes. Rude. Definitely need a lesson in customer service. YOU are not the customer, we are, figure out how to present yourself otherwise you'll end up eating that chip on your shoulder.

🤢🤮 The country fried steak was not crispy what so.. ever. The gravy was very.. salty. The potatoes were box and they were dry. And how you gonna put brown gravy on potatoes with white gravy on the steak UNLESS you specifically asked for it. The cucumber salad was mushy and the dressing on it made it taste almost sour. The apple cobbler had 2 little slivers of apple in it and tasted like it was frozen. The whole meal wasn't worth the 7.90 I had to pay for it!😞
