Pleasantly surprised when I finally went here. It's one of my new favorite places to hang out and catch up on some reading. Love the spiral staircase that leads you upstairs. But, I agree, not the best place for private conversation, but that's OK.

Been going to the Fix for years. A unique building and a cozy one. Decent coffee but if you want strong you've got to ask for it. Current owner very welcoming and friendly but he's having a hard time keeping it open at the stated hours. Give him some business!

Such a unique building with a relaxed atmosphere. The owner was friendly and his coffee is the best I've had! ( Better than Starbucks!) Will come back in the future! :)

I have visited this coffee shop three times during normal hours in the past two weeks and it was closed. No reason, no sign, just the door locked. The one time I did visit and it was opened, I asked why it was closed on a normal business day and was told they were making renovations. Really? What renovations? No sign to notify your customers. I would understand if this was a one time thing, but it has now been three times I have visited and it was not open. I don't think you will be in business very long with this kind of service.
I know I will not be back!
