The food here is always on point and perfectly seasoned. Meat so juicy and tender, so many options for sides with healthy options as well. Just wish they had better meal deals. You pay for the entree, sides, bread, drinks and everything else individually. They only have a southern fried chiken meal deal. Anything else you want has it's individual price.

5 star service this time as always. Great food which is always the case. We were early birds on this particular visit and everyone was very pleasant from the servers to the cashier. Stop in and see them. We stopped in for our usual visit today and I went out on a limb and tried something different, teriyaki chicken bites. I was pleasantly surprised, they were pretty good. Maybe MAPS will work right next trip and I can post a new review instead of editing an old one.

K&W is my go to place for lunch after a doctor appt or anytime I want some comfort food like Grandmama used to make! I have to go gluten free and they have all GF items marked on the line. Terrific grilled fish, vegetables & my family enjoys their baked chicken. Great variety of salads, meats, veggies, breads & desserts. I cheat & get coconut cream pie but avoid the crust vc that pie tastes just like what my sweet Grandmama used to bake. I miss her so much so it's southern comfort food for the ❤

Good place (if one knows, what to expect from K&W). Back in the day I'd eaten a few times at D&S Cary location, and this place is much much better. Food tastes freshly cooked, associates are friendly and accommodating. Perhaps, closeness to the Vidant Hospital complex has its positive influence. I got "3 veggies meal" + drink tonight, and it was good.
