This was a great location, solid food, but the deck I think would be amazing during the sprint, summer, and early fall. I am sure I will be coming back here to enjoy some golf and a couple beers on the deck.

Under new ownership!!! Thank God. Good food. Great prices. I never patronized this place while previous owner was there because of stuff he pulled at a previous restaurant he owned. Couldn't wait to try it after I heard someone else bought it. She seems very nice and when she gets a solid dependable staff under wing I'm sure they will do very well.

We were the only people in there. The waiter/bartender wouldn't leave us alone. He kept coming back to try talking to us since we ordered our food until we left. The food was really good though!

I have to say- my experience at Third Base was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I went here tonight to get a bite to eat for myself, husband and daughter (there were only 3 of us- keep that in mind, it will be important). I told the bartender that I was in a hurry and was going to order food for us prior to my husband and daughter getting there. At 4:50 I order a burger, chicken sandwich and a quesadilla. My daughter had a dentist appointment at 5:30, but figured 40 min was more than enough time. My family gets there at 4:55.- where we wait... and wait. Finally at 5:25 my husband and daughter leave to go to her dentist appointment. I said I’d wait cause it couldn’t be much longer to get our food (I was wrong). Finally at 5:53- our food finally comes. 1 hr and 3 minutes later! Luckily my daughter was just finishing getting her teeth cleaned (yes her teeth cleaning was shorter in time than getting food!). By this time I’m pretty angry. I tell the bartender I’m upset. She informed me that their 4pm cook was a no call/no show. Wouldn’t that have been nice to know when I ordered well over an hour ago! I’m told that she will go talk to the manager. The manager comes out and proceeds to tell me every excuse. After taking she me, she goes and talks to some regular customers and to make comments such as “how she wishes everyone owned a small business so they could understand.” (Hard not to think that was directed to me). This just frustrates me more. I didn’t know that owning a small business gives people the right to be inconsiderate of people time and frustrations and be allowed to just make excuses when things go wrong (and are not the customers fault!). They are gracious enough to remove 1 item from our bill. I say that’s fine and ask for the bill. When they bring back my receipt to sign, I noticed that they tacked on an 18% gratuity for large parties of 6 or more. As I stated above- there were 3 of us! The bartender says she will give me back the gratuity. The manager comes up and tells me that the bartender is having such a hard day and starts laying in the excuses. In fact one reason for the large party tip was that their computer systems must have a setting that one of the items I ordered is associated with a party..??? Ummmm ok????!! I told her that I’m very frustrated because they purposely wasted my time by not telling me there was no cool. Tonight was important. See my family and I always go out to dinner the night before my daughters birthday- which is tomorrow 3/1. It’s a celebration of an awesome year she has. I told her that this ruined this occasion simply because no one told me our food couldn’t be made. I told her that it wasted so much time, that i will not be able to go home and make her school treat tonight with her for her birthday tomorrow. She proceeded to tell me that she gets it cause she has 5 kids and started making excuses. I did not have time for this. My husband and daughter had to bring their food home. Note - my husbands burger was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. About 20 min after my daughter ate her sandwich, she toppled over with a horrible stomach ache. I get things happen- but what makes me upset is that I wasn’t told what was going on when I ordered. Then when I got upset, all I was given was excuses. Heck, even the manager kept saying “I don’t mean to keep giving excuses but...”. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. The wait was horrible, but what got me was the lack of respect I was shown!
