Union deposit. The caramel sundaes are good however they are NOT Worth over $6 you pay for a large that's the size of a Small at alot of other places or a medium if you're not lucky, talk about downsizing your products. I don't know about everyone else but I'm sure not im going back There again, or the rest of my family and I'm tired of this screw over your Customers attitude by all of the companies in America..

Love this place. This location in particular always stays open later into the season than others, which is just 😚👌🏽 perfect. In the years I've gone here, they've only gotten my order wrong once, but when I said something about it, they let me have the goofed up one AND the right one. Hell yeah. As of autumn of 2021, they're super understaffed, and the last few times I went there seemed to only be one person working, but she's doing her absolute best. Service is still great.

We went to Rita’s Union Deposit last night at 8:50pm they were open until 9:00pm, after standing at the window for about 5 minutes a young lady came to the window and told us that window service was ended but we could drive through. There were 3 of us, went to the car and went to the drive through. After pulling up to drive through a young man came to the window and said we closed. Explained that the young lady told us to drive up, he did not care, he proceeded to argue with us. Asked for the manager, he indicated he was and continued to argue. He never even bothered to ask her. This is ice and custard, the grills weren’t off, the deep fryer wasn’t off, they just served a car in front of us and worse yet he never asked his co-worker. I asked for the card or the owner or general manager and he slammed the window and locked it. My husband will never go to Rita’s again, I will not support this franchise. We ended up at 3 B’s on Derry Street, owners should go here, they are open til 10:30 Friday night, was packed and had 3 windows working and the ice cream was on point! DO NOT RECOMMEND RITA’S UNION DEPOSIT!!

Rita's specializes in combinations of italian ice and frozen custard, which has a different consistency and taste than soft serve ice cream. They tend to have sugar-free options. Not exactly inexpensive - easily $5-8 a person which can add up quickly. Great treat on a hot day. Often long lines but the workers do their best! You can get some to-go which is convenient for family or work outings. This location has some outdoor seating (walk up window only) and a drive through.
