Don’t even bother, waited for 2 hours for a simple shrimp dish ordered on seamless. Only for it to be cancelled. I called the first time after getting the alert of a delay, and got a rude response from the girl that answered saying they have another 20 mins to make the food and it should be ready soon. That was at almost an hour in waiting. I called back a second time and a guy answered and told me the food was ready but they don’t deliver it themselves And because they took so long seamless end up canceling the order. Since the food was already done as proclaimed by the restaurant, seamless said that the best thing I could do is just placed the order again so that the delivery person can pick it up. I tried to call back the restaurant to confirm that they will have the food ready and they completely stop answering their phone, at first it was ringing and now it just goes straight to voicemail as if they disconnected it. Worst service I’ve ever experienced and I was excited to try the food Too , I guess I will never be trying it now. Buyers beware.

First Time And Last Time There. They messed up my order. I noticed it when I got home. They gave me collards greens , instead of yams. It was a simple mistake. I called them to let them know ( I asked can I pick of the side of yams the next day, since I was already home) and he told me that I had to bring the order of collards greens all the way back to that hole in the wall restaurant today in order for me to get the yams... Which was absolutely ridiculous.. Poor customer service.

Inviting Southern cuisine restaurant with a delicious selection of sandwiches, main entreé, sides, desserts and beverages. I do not feel that my wait is very long whenever I place my take-out order with the friendly counter staff and I notice several customers, come in to pick up their orders and they smile and chat with the staff as well. Orders are cash only, you pay right after ordering and there is an ATM provided in the waiting area if needed. My food is always packaged very well and everything I have ever ordered has a wonderful aroma and tastes great!

My first time patronizing this establishment was maybe ten years ago and the only thing I enjoyed was the German chocolate cake , I wasn't too impressed with everything else but the service was absolutely devine. Hadn't gone back until maybe the spring of 2021. At that time Covid snatched my damn taste buds some months before so I wasn't quite sure of the taste of the food. Fast forward to December of 2021 and OMMFG!! The food AND service are GREAT! They have really turned the place around!! The employees are polite friendly and down to earth. The food is EXCELLENT. It's Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Dem cakes will cause you to lose your religion!!! The remodeling of the place really gives a sense of rebirth. Not to mention the rewards and discounts!!! 😁😁😁😜😜😜 If I could afford to eat here ERDAY I ABSO-FUGN-LUTELY WOULD!!!!
