Surf Bagel And Deli

Grabbed breakfast for the family on a Friday morning and it was fairly busy around 9am. Great selection of bagel flavors along with some baked good options. They also had a selection of fresh brewed coffe, juices, and milk in a refrigerated case. We did have some issues with our order so I suggest checking it before leaving if you have a large order like we did.

Love surf bagel. I know they are doing a good job. However I too have noticed the bagels used to be very warm when toasted. Now barely warm and not warm at all if you live 5 minutes away. Usually also get two of their granola yogurts. Yummy. But lately they are always out of them. Cream cheese on the bagels has also gotten very skimpy. Still love it though

But I have to say now I'm reducing from three stars to two after this visit today. The pictures speak volumes of this establishments inability to do the most basic function on Earth... Toast a bagel and follow direction! I think I heard that they were bought out by a Restaurant group so crossing fingers they show them how to actually toast a bagel and apply butter or cream cheese Today I went in and asked them to toast it with very light butter. I even reiterated that the last time I was here it just came out warm and was not toasted at all. The cashier acknowledged my concern and said that she will be sure it's toasted with light butter. Well take a look at the photos... I got an incredibly burnt bagel with a gallon of butter drenched all over!!! Seriously you guys I have no idea how you've stayed in business this long !!! --------------- 5 months ago - 3 stars: Come on guys... You can do better toasting the bagels! Even when you aren't busy they come out mushy with no sign of being toasted and are hardly warm. If I wanted a bagel that resembled being thrown in the microwave for 20 seconds I'd ask for that. And your lack of care with the spreads... Very clumpy and only on 2 of the 4 halves. Very sloppy work guys. $14 for 4 bagels (3 as is)... I expect better. You should expect better. Please reconsider that when people ask for toasted bagels with a spread, that you have a modicum of consideration to actually care for your product.

The bagel gods have blessed this place. So so good. I didn't realize it was sandwiches and salads etc. Fast service. Friendly people. They don't have a person going around cleaning tables though. We had to clean ours off. Other than that perfection. With the amount of turn over on the tables they should.

They have a nice selection of bagels. The person who waited on me had a great smile and was very patient. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese. When I received my bagel, I found that there was enough cream cheese on it for 2 bagels. It was delicious! It's a little hidden from view but you don't want to miss visiting this place! It's worth it!

Great little bagel shop right off of highway one but it can usually be congested be congested. I've had a number of bagel sandwiches from here none of them disappointed.. I do wish that the lox bagel would come as 2 separate bagels rather than a big sandwich that I can't get my mouth around. All in all, because it's close to my mom's house, when I come and stay I'll usually walk up the sidewalk to go get a quick bite in the morning.
