Kauai Pasta Lihue

We had a wonderful experience at this Italian restaurant. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We shared a salad of Kailani field greens with tomatoes, cucumbers, and carrots. It was a refreshing and light salad, with a tangy balsamic vinegar dressing. Also ordered truffle parmesan fries with three sauces. They were crispy, flavorful, and addictive. The sauces were all homemade and complemented the fries well. The housemade pesto pasta with Kauai basil, macadamia nuts, and parmesan cheese. It was one of the best pasta dishes I have tasted. The pesto sauce was fresh, fragrant, and nutty. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the cheese added a nice touch of saltiness. The staff was very courteous and attentive. They checked on us frequently and refilled our drinks. They also gave us some complimentary bread and olive oil. The restaurant had a cozy and elegant atmosphere, with soft music and dim lighting. They also had a good vegetarian menu, with many options to choose from. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Italian food. It was a great dining experience.

If I could give this place 6 stars, I absolutely would. The staff is serving the most Aloha of any place I have been on the island. I highly recommend the truffle parmesan fries if you are interested... all of their sauces are house-made. (I recommend the ranch.) These portions are GENEROUS. I highly recommend the spaghetti and meat sauce because it is DELICIOUS.

My boyfriend and I had just finished the Kalaulau hike and this Italian food was just what we needed after a long and exhausting hike. The food came quick and it was very tasty. Hit the spot. We especially loved the mozarella cheese with garlic bread and marinara sauce appetizer and the chocolate crème brule for dessert. We got the lasagna and chicken Parmesan for entrees and loved those as well.

I forgot to take a picture but this food what amazing! I ordered the chicken pesto that came with fettuccine and Alfredo sauce, and garlic bread. Oh my gosh! It was sooooooo good! I was able to take leftovers back to our room since they have good size portions. Next time I go to Kauai I am going here again! Will refer to my friends that travel here as well. I really wish I could get a dish this delicious at home!

Ended up here because Google Maps said they had pizza and they didn't, but we stayed anyway and loved it. Had the pesto pasta, which was excellent, but after sampling my friend's dish I wished I'd had something (anything) with their meat sauce. It was just preposterously good. They should sell it by the pint.
