Awesome food. We hung out here while waiting for our flight to show up. One waitress was working and the place was packed and service was still great. I swear the burger I ordered was out in under 5 minutes. Excellent experience!

Great atmosphere and friendly lovely staff! It’s right by a Target and a Ross. It’s so conveniently located and the food was great! All around 2 thumbs up

We stopped at 2 different locations. The first we got take out and the other just for a drink as we waited for our flight out. #1 in Koloa was very busy. We should have called in our order. #2 was in Lihue and was busy, but not crowded. We got our drinks promptly and the server at the bar was very pleasant.
I wouldn't hesitate stopping again at any Kalapaki Joe's again. Watch the time though if you're going for dinner.

The most western bar there is! Kinda cool!
We had ahi poke nachos, a burger, a BLT & it was all delicious.
Loved the customer service. We even spotted our hostess there at a different restaurant. She was awesome when we had her & also at the other place when we saw her there.
Great service, food & drinks all around with l friendly faces!

Kalapaki Joe’s is a sports bar with a wonderful vibe, great servers and even better food. The servings are HUGE, so order accordingly. There’s also a great cross breeze in the restaurant with a stunning view.

Great service, decent food in a bar setting. I like the rustic look and feel. The nachos are impressive in quantity but lack the amazing factor in flavor. They are good to be sure just short of amazing. The steak is cut-up cube steak, which is fine if there was more flavor. The presentation was poor, all of the nacho cheese was on on side and buried. But you can't miss with grilled jalapeños and onions, nice touch. The service was outstanding.

The best happy hour on the island, $.25 wings! TV screens for both indoor and outdoor seating. The food is good and the staff is friendly, one of my favorite places to go on the island.

Definitely has the look of an upper-end Hawaiian Dive Bar, but has good food, quick service, cold beer, and portions are huge. If you're looking for something away from the beach resorts and amongst the locals, this is a nice choice.
