Roland's Mix Plate

This place is great for breakfast. Visited in 2018 and again August 22 2019. They are reasonable and friendly to the tourist on the island. We ate there 3 times out of 7 days. The food was good and hearty. I would recommend this little gem. Kauai doesn't have as good of our as many places as the other islands so this is an awesome find. I assure you that you can't go wrong in eating here. It is a local joint but that's really how you know it's good. I plan on going there when I visit the island again. It's on my list of places because I found it difficult to find affordable food choices that were good and this was one of them.

Great local food! Was craving a good plate lunch and this is it! Huge portions! My husband ordered a burger that had to be a whole pound of beef! Try the yum yum fries- you won't be disappointed! Chop chop salad is nice for a lighter lunch. Can't wait to come back and try more! Don't miss the turn - it's easy to miss but you can't afford to miss it!

Super delicious dishes. A must try for breakfast, the food is great and the staff was awesome. She was really helpful in recommending things and I would have to say that I didnt regret asking her. She did great! Everything we got was delicious. The place is really local and really clean. Not to touristy and not a advertisement outside. Definitely a local spot as that pretty much all we saw eating inside when we went around 8:30am. The food came out hot and yummy! Thank you Roland's Mix Plate for a great experience!
