The Wolseley

What a wonderful place for an afternoon tea. Beautifully decorated and well-appointed. The service is friendly and approachable. They explained each of the sandwiches to us, as well as emphasized that it was an "eat as much as you want" situation, with refills on whatever we wanted. We were so full after one round that we didn't refill, but it was nice to have the option. The finger sandwiches were all amazing. I loved the cheese and pickle so much that I got some Branston Pickle as soon as I got home to New York. I also loved the coronation chicken. The pastries were quite good too, with the poached pear and frangipane tart being a real highlight. And the SCONES... so delicious with clotted cream and jam. The tea was pretty good, but honestly the food was more of the highlight to me.

Visited this restaurant for my birthday recently. The good was delicious, ambience was good and service was excellent and as if nothing was too much of an ask. I would certainly recommend and would return. However, I do not think the quality is such that truly reflects the price and there is soom for improvement. So, be mindful of the London prices. All in all, very good!

Wonderful early dinner before the theatre. Everything was delicious, with particular highlights the kedgeree and the fishcakes Arlington. Service was impeccable and the elegant dining room put you in the mood for a top class experience. For the quality of the food and the service, not to mention the location, I would say their prices are fair. We can’t wait to return and try the many other things on the menu that sounded delicious. The afternoon tea is wonderful. The atmosphere is nice and the staff provide good service. The scones are delicious, the sandwiches are tasty and more can be brought on request and the cake selection is good. The only downside with the cakes is, they only bring one of everything; so if you want to try it all, you must share. The tea selection is also nice. Overall, The Wolseley is an excellent afternoon tea experience.

I visit today its good wow! The place itself is so clean and comfortable, polite staff every section and This is definitely going to be my place of choice whenever coming back to london🥰👍🏻🫰🏻love to go again and again…🔥🔥 thanks for the services with huge smile. I would say big shout out to them for great services . My server as gone above and beyond to provide me the best services as I was on fasting today and he took the permission from his manager to provide me fruit salad of my choice. It's an amazing restaurant. They make you feel so so special. It's a hidden secret next to the Ritz London. I will be returning if I want to treat anyone to make them and youself feel very very Special. A fabulous cream tea only £40 per person! Booking is Recommended. The WOLSELEY is the best Restaurant in London.

Everything was excellent. I are chicken schnitzel and my husband ate iron meat (something called similar). We ordered a starter with cheese, which is the restaurant's specialty. Afterwards we ordered sachertorte and carrot cake with coffee. Carrot cake was excellent. Service, environment and food was great.

We reserved for lunch and luckily can directly order afternoon tea after our lunch meals (afternoon tea started from 15 o’clock on that day). It was noisy as most people sat in a big room but service and indoor design still made the stay enjoyable. Normally sandwiches should be consumed first so we followed the rules but couldn’t eat up the scones, which was really a pity. Aside from the scones, cheese cake and himberry éclair were top.
