Food was excellent and I think Sunday roasts are really hard to get right. The beef was delicious, tender and perfectly cooked. Two people in of our party had the sharing platter and I think that dish in particular represented really good value. The service was efficient and friendly. Really couldn’t fault anything with the food or service. The wine by the glass was pretty expensive and that stopped us ordering more but that might just be London prices now.

We had pre booked a table but when we arrived the table was still occupied and we had to wait 15 minutes before we were seated. The staff were friendly enough. The food we ordered arrived quite quickly despite the pub being very busy. All of the food we ordered was very nice. The pub is very noisy, so if you want something a bit quieter this may not be for you (personally I like a lively atmosphere) Would I go again? Yes definitely, if I was in the area I would not hesitate to have lunch there.

We had an amazing Sunday lunch here today. We had our table booked, however the pub still had customers on their table who literally refused to leave, even though their time was up. The place is packed and the staff went above and beyond to seat us and we where happy to take a table outside as the sun was shining. We decided on the Sunday roast platter which consisted on the roast chicken, sirloin and pork belly with all the trimming and it was absolutely delicious. Desert was mandarin cheesecake which again was delicious, not our first choice but it was a very busy day. Staff honestly make this place what it is, so lovely, attentive and friendly and honestly they made our afternoon. Loving the new re-fit but be warned, the place is packed so be sure to book and we look forward to going back soon.
