Konaki Greek Restaurant

I've been to this location several times, and it's always consistent. The service is excellent, and the servers are always cheerful and playful. It creates a light atmosphere. They now have three seating areas: one in front of the restaurant, one indoors, and one on the back patio, which is super cute and well-equipped for any weather. The food is delicious and generously portioned.

A good place with some great dishes but not all. We had 3 main dishes, the kokkinisto and souvlaki were great. Dolmadakia were not as good. I enjoyed galaktompoureko, buts figs and kantaifi were not something special. I would say that I would go again, but I have to be careful what I will choose. The staff was friendly.

Cozy and very well designed restaurant. As a greek I found its food very tasty and authentic, pricey enough though. Service is also paid separately which increased the bill significantly. Additionally, the owners have great taste in greek music which adds to the whole high quality experience in Konaki.

Little piece of heaven in a manic area.. We popped in on the off chance and boy we wasn't disappointed. Amazing food, friendly and attentive staff. It's the little things that count and when your here you never feel rushed or like you just another customer. A real personal feel and it really feels like a family restaurant, if you bump in to the chefs downstairs they even they ask if you've enjoyed your food. We will be back even just for the best Irish coffee I've ever had.. full marks 100%

Konaki has a really friendly, family restaurant feel to it. The staff were appropriately attentive and helped with recommendations and advice. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food was amazing. We were not rushed once the meal was over and the price represented good value for money, especially given that the restaurant is in London!

Quite honestly the best Greek food we've ever eaten. Myself the lamb souvlaki, my friend the chicken souvlaki. Both were juicy, melt-in-your-mouth meats. Staff is very frantic, but eager to serve and delighted to share their culture and cuisine with their patrons. Hidden gem that I will absolutely return to upon a return trip to London.

Konaki may be everyone's 'go to' Greek restaurant- mine for 25 years. So you know I like it, clearly... but why? If you're in search of a convivial evening with friends - it's really great for larger parties, works outings etc. - then I almost defy you to do better on a reasonable budget. I dined here recently in a party of 14, the bill came to under £40 per head with service, and we couldn't eat it all! But it also works for small groups and couples. Enjoy small family gatherings... take the kids... or date nights in the atmospheric courtyard behind the restaurant on balmy summer evenings; it's a bit different, even romantic, and the bill won't make your eyes water. The welcome is always warm here, and the service timely, smiling and friendly even when packed. The decor may be in something of a time warp some may feel, but it's charming and comfortable. When I'm here in a group often the Meze meal option is the preferred choice... they will happily agree main course dishes for vegetarians, but all the starter elements are veggie anyway so it works for everyone. And it just keeps coming...Talk about a value meal! This is perfect fare for unhurried, chatty evenings with friends! But standard main course selections will suit some diners better, and there's even a prix fixe menu... all are delicious. This is really good cooking, from unpretentious family restaurateurs who know their business, and like their patrons. Put it on your list... you'll be glad you did.
