Our experience at the Candella Tea Room was absolutely amazing. I wanted to have an afternoon tea experience during our vacation in England- and I was THRILLED when they had an opening for a reservation. Not only were the tea, pastries and scones delightful- but the service provided by Marcus was top notch! I highly recommend making a reservation to have tea at this tea house!

It was one of the best afternoon teas I've had. Fantastic selection of drinks with a menu dedicated to the many teas on offer - everything from English breakfast to chocolate orange! Afternoon tea came with a lovely selection of sandwiches, delicious cakes, and of course scones with clotted cream and jam plus a pot of tea each. Service was quick and friendly, and the ambience is lovely. You get 1.5 hours for your reservation, so there is plenty of time to enjoy your food and the atmosphere without feeling rushed. Gets booked up well in advance, so booking is a must, with plenty of notice, but I would highly recommend it!

Writing a review a bit late, but I went to Candella Tea Room this august with a friend, it was our first time in England, our first time enjoying an afternoon tea and I don’t think we could have chosen a better place. Everything was incredible, the food was amazing, the teas soooo great, the place itself was beautiful with nice furnitures and superbe atmosphere but most of all the people there, the service ! We had the pleasure to be accompanied by Marcus during this experience and he was awesome. He gave us great recommendations and he was just a really really nice and funny person. Small but lovely tea room in London! I made a resevation for 2 and got a indoor window seat and it was so nice. Afternoon tea was great, staff explained all the details about tea food on the tray. Sweets on the top were also flavorful. The best was of course their scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam. For 2, we can’t finish all so I asked if they have to-go box and staff (a lovely girl) packed it neatly. I’d love to visit again and enjoy cream tea.
