Johnnies

I've seen Johnnie's on many occasions but I just didn't think to try it out. It always looks busy from the outside and I understand why. The food came quickly, everything was as advertised and it tasted good! One of the best cafes I have been to and I am sure the locals treasure it. If you don't like a busy place, this is not for you.

Jonnys is a consistent source of delight; it's my children's top pick for dining. The staff consistently goes the extra mile to treat my kids with delightful surprises, adding an extra layer of joy to our visits. It's not just my kids who adore Jonnys; it's also my preferred choice for relaxed lunches with friends. I've never encountered a disappointing dish during my three years of patronage – the food quality is consistently excellent. Moreover, the staff members are truly delightful, radiating charm and adding warmth to the dining experience, making every visit truly enjoyable.

Amazing breakfast after coming in out of country, lunch and dinner options too. Strawberry banana Milkshake hit the spot. Paper straw sucks though! Pancakes were perfect with all the berries and butter, but that’s just my preference. I ate #5, which is plenty, comes with hash browns or chips (fries), bacon, and two fat sausage links. Service was great, wasn’t waiting for ages and it was a Thursday at 9ish. Will definitely be coming again! Vegetarian options 4 was great too.

Amazing value range of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Oreo Milkshake was spot on but I will recommend a spoon or more solid straw! Pancakes were a little dense and heavy for me but that’s just my preference. 3 is plenty if you have it with hash browns/bacon etc. Would suggest noting to customers that it comes with cream as it only says “with strawberries” but that’s just because I don’t like cream. Service was great, wasn’t waiting for ages and it was a Saturday at lunchtime. Will definitely be coming again!
