Can I start by saying, that the white lion but has a very relaxed atmosphere with the staff being so helpful and there's no pressure of paying until the end of you experience at the white lion pub come

White Lion pubs have a bad rep in general, but this one bucks the trend.
Great service, staff and the food and drink offer is on point.

Cracking pub a short walk from Finsbury Park station. Has indoor and outdoor seating, a decent range of beers on tap, and staff that know how to pour a good pint of Guinness.
Food is lovely, quality ingredients and well priced considering the portion sizes. Still dreaming about their cheesy chips.

Nice pub on the main road which is a great all rounder. The food and drink is reasonably priced, especially the one real ale on cask, wine and the well kept Guinness. Stays open a little later than most in the area, has music on a Saturday and decent seating outside. Bar staff are very chatty and friendly. One slight oddity is that on occasion you wait to be seated which seems an unnecessary step for a pub that shows which tables have been reserved and if you're just popping in for a couple pints.

Excellent pub - great, interesting food and a good selection of drinks available. Very friendly staff and a brilliant overall atmosphere.

Popped in the other evening after a long day. Not quite hungry enough for a main meal, we opted to share a selection of small plates (they do the best hummus). We've eaten here many times, and the food is always cooked to perfection - we love their burgers, steaks and Sunday roasts. The pub is clean, spacious, and the staff are super friendly - we couldn't ask for a better local!
