One of my favourite cafes! Sunny and vibey, great coffee and a delicious brunch menu with a unique range. Can’t leave without also indulging in the baked goods selection. Highly recommend the Nutella cookie - perfection every time. There’s a small line on the weekend especially but worth the wait.

Feel so lucky to have such a place close by!
The food and drinks are yummy, the staff is very nice and the location ideal.
I'm sure people would love it if the place was bigger but that what makes it so charming. So far I never had to queue. Just avoid those typical brunch/bf times and you'll be fine

This has been on my places to go list for years and finally visited - def worth the wait! We ordered the breakfast croissant (with harissa mushrooms), earl grey french toast and an oat latte to share.
The flavours on the menu were varied and the menu wasn't huge (a good thing!) so wasn't overwhelming. Prices ranged from £9ish - £12 which is decent value for money in these times imo.
Will be recommending this place to others for sure!

Great menu - the eggs royale was delicious. The star attraction for me was actually the hazelnut croissant behind the counter, it had a crunch in the filling that was divine.

Lovely little place to cool down from hustle and bustle of Balham High St.
Coffee tasted good although I prefer mine hot and this wasn’t.
Sweet Brunch French Toast was delicious even if it took 15 mins to arrive.
Biscoff Brownie was a bit dry around the edge and we were right to think it wasn’t fresh as they delivered new batch whilst we were there.
Overall nice place to go for brunch. Service was friendly and warm. Will definitely be coming back.

I was investigating Balham for my blog and noticed this cute bakery come cafe. I visited twice to try different items on the menu. On the second visit I took my partner and puppy. I tried the Turkish Çilbir (poached eggs accompanied by garlic yoghurt). I also tried the Anda Masala which was outstanding. I can also recommend their cakes, those are yummy. The eatery has contemporary interiors with white walls and a few plants to freshen up the place. You'll find a couple of tables outside. It's a buzzy place to visit for breakfast, lunch or afternoon.

It's a gem of a place in Balham. Their food is out of this world! You must visit and try everything they offer on the menu. The eggs are perfectly done! Their pastries are top quality and big portions that are worth the money! It's very popular so be prepared to join long queues!

Very busy. Did not feel like I could stay and work.
There are not many sockets either.
It is a great place to stop by for an hour while working on a laptop, after that you feel like you are taking up space other customers could be using if you are not having more than a coffee that is. So if you do stop to work longer than an hour, don't waste the table, order food drinks and work. Then you are supporting them, instead of losing them business. Because they are busy and tables filled up fast.
I ended up sharing my table with an older couple, rightly so! I was on a table enough to fit 4 people. Only one was open with a socket when I first sat down. So I happily shared.
More suitable for meeting with friends or family time.

The breakfast and brunch menu and choices are pretty good and the staff are super friendly and accommodating which is lovely. The food is all Halal which is also great, I would recommend the Dutch Waffle as my personal favourite/recommendation.
On the occasions that I've been here and ordered (different) coffees and they've not been very nice at all, which considering the price, is quite annoying! I would however go back for the food all of which was good for everyone on the table, every time!

Excellent food. It's a bit far for us given its in South London but was well worth it. We went for the Dutch baby with chicken as well as the lamb shawarma. All food is halal as a bonus. Would totally recommend.
