Sunny Hill Cafe

No wonder this place is 5 star. We came across it by accident looking for a playground for our 2 yr old. The people here are so generous of heart and really looked after our daughter. But more than that, the food is amazing 🤩 and portions are huge! Will come to this fabulous Israeli place again for sure

When we miss Mediterranean food this is the place to go. My family are vegans, for them this is a perfect restaurant. We arrived on Sunday for lunch, at the weekends the place is very busy. The nice waiter registered us in line and said to wait half an hour. In the meantime, the children played in the wonderful park that is right here. We entered the restaurant after 20 minutes which passed quickly. I ordered a dish of hummus with mushrooms. My family members ordered Shakshuka - which is an egg on a bed of tomatoes in sauce. The children were happy to receive a portion of chips with 2 falafel balls and some hummus. There was also a nice salad that added vitamins to the meal. A typical Mediterranean dish that was ordered was "jahanon", which is a type of rolled puff pastry served with crushed tomatoes and a hard-boiled egg. We all really enjoyed the homely taste, the kind service. At the tables around us, the diners seemed satisfied with the food they received. A beautiful restaurant, and highly recommended

You'll mostly see those furry friends being responsible citizens, keeping their dogs on a leash (well, most of them, at least). It's a real treat to sit back and observe the joyful chaos of children playing and pups wagging their tails in excitement. When it comes to the menu, they've got some real cornerstones that will make your taste buds dance. Picture this: Shakshuka, Falafel, Sabich, and schnitzel. Mmm... just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Although I must warn you, the food prices have gone up a bit. But fear not, my friend, because the service is still as great as ever. Friendly faces and delicious bites, what more could you ask for? Now, let's talk about parking. Oh boy, it's a bit of a sore subject. You see, the parking space is limited, and on those weekend sunny days, it can turn into a downright pain. It's like a game of musical chairs, except instead of chairs, it's parking spots, and instead of music, there's the sound of frustrated drivers circling around. But hey, if you're lucky enough to find a spot, it's all worth it once you step into that little café oasis. So, if you're up for a delightful day in the park, with good food, great service (despite the rising prices), and a chance to witness the beautiful chaos of families and their furry companions, this café is the place to be. Just remember to keep your eyes peeled for parking, or else you might end up taking more laps than an Olympic runner.

We've found our favorite spot, the Sunny Hill Cafe, nestled in the picturesque Sunny Hill Park. The food and drinks they offer are exceptional, with a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Personally, I adore their Cajun curly fries, Shakshuka, and the falafel mezze box. The cafe provides ample seating both indoors and outdoors. What sets this place apart is the incredibly friendly staff. On our first visit, they surprised us with a sauce platter, featuring a delectable chili-based dip and a delightful mango pickled dip. It was a wonderful gesture that added to the overall delightful experience at the cafe. Last they also have these amazing tea's.
