Had the 5 course menu. The fish is fresh, and the ratio of rice to raw fish in the nigiri was good. However the lamb was a bit tough and chewy, but other than that everything was good.

Visited Akira after seeing it in the Michelin guide and wasn't disappointed. The food is top-notch, especially the sushi set – a must-try! Also, don't miss out on the matcha crepe cake. They've got a great wine and sake selection, and their cocktails are on point. Highly recommend!

Excellent taster menu and selection of wines and sake, lots of seating for larger groups and the staff were brilliantly attentive.
Japanese toilets are cool too.

Lovely food and price.
Decoration lovely and menú amazing. The only is the service didn’t feel comfortable with the managers didn’t feel they were good recommending the plates.
I’m afraid I’ll not return.

The food at Akira is delicious. The food is fresh, authentic, and presented in an assortment of dishes. The customer service is also exceptional, the vibe was very cozy yet refined. I asked for something special for our anniversary and they delivered. I was very grateful for the extra mile the staff at Akira went to make our night better.

Really good food. We went early afternoon for the Japanese afternoon tea for two and enjoyed everything! The range of smoked black teas was great the one with Sakura was really good.

There are better Japanese restaurants in London, but it's a nice authentic place with an open kitchen that you can observe. Over the weekend it's very busy, even for lunch. The bento box allows you to have a selection of various small dishes, so it can be a very good choice if you want to explore a variety of dishes and you can get full easily from this in my mind. The desserts are nice too. The toilets are impeccable. The prices are slightly more expensive than what I would expect.

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at the counter on a Saturday afternoon. Everyone was very friendly and the afternoon desserts were brilliant. Next time I will have lunch, highly recommend Akira Restaurant.

A most lovely experience having top Japanese food. The menu was exquisite. Service was slow and a bit problematic to get the drinks flowing. But other than that it was a wonderful dinner.
