Fare Bar And Canteen

The team at Fare are amazing. We started planning our wedding at Fare just as they were changing ownership and I absolutely had concerns but I cannot rave about this place and their team more. Janka and Joe were the best, answering all of our questions and ensuring we had the most stress-free day possible. We are big foodies so this was very important to us and the food was incredible, the cocktails also - one of the best margaritas, we had so many compliments. Have nothing bad to say, thank you Fare for the best day of our lives.

Thanks to Joe and the FARE team for making our son's wedding party such a beautifully happy occasion. From the moment we turned up early to dress the tables, to when we left, having danced our socks off, everyone was so very helpful, friendly and efficient. All the guests I spoke to made similar comments. The space worked very well for us, both the two indoor rooms and the outdoor 'escape' zone, the food was really delicious, catering well for GF and other issues, and the service was exemplary. Even the weather did not disappoint!

We hosted our wedding reception at Fare and we had the best time. Both in the lead up to the event and on the day, we were supported by Janka, along with owners Joe and Ricci whose experience shone through. So many of our guests commented on how nice the venue was and how great the food was too. The bar staff on the night were also great. It's lovely for an intimate and alternative wedding celebration - we'd definitely recommend!

We ordered a range of antipasti platters and a range of pizzas for a large work event for staggered collection - the food was so reasonably priced and the team were super helpful. Such nice meat and cheese antipasti platters and the pizzas were unreal - thank you, I will definitely be back to have a coffee on the terrace.

We hosted our wedding at Fare this weekend and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. For anyone considering hosting a wedding or other event at the venue, you are in very safe hands! I don't believe the team has hosted many weddings to date as the owners are fairly new, but it was so slick and professional and everything ran seamlessly. To begin with, the venue is stunning and looks incredible in the photos. The space is super flexible and is laid out perfectly for a wedding - with the area upstairs being used for our drinks reception and downstairs for the meal and DJ. We were a bit nervous about the food and drinks leading up to the event, as this was such an important part of the day for us. But the team shook up amazing cocktails all day long which we were very appreciative of. And the canapes, our dinner and evening pizzas were all delicious! All of our guests were commenting on how fantastic the food and drinks were. But the real stand out were the staff. They were attentive and friendly all day long, despite running a very busy bar service for us. And the owner Ricci was amazing in the run up, advising us on what would work best for the day, and liaising with our vendors to ensure everything was taken care of. Nothing was too big an ask. Overall, there wasn't one single thing I could fault and we are so appreciative to all the staff at Fare for making sure we had such an incredible day :)

Absolutely fantastic, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We had an array of starters which were faultless all absolutely delicious. mains were excellent too, I had the seabass which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Would have been delighted to have had any of the other dishes as they all looked fabulous. Did not sample the desserts. The setting is very cool, relaxed atmosphere, with a lovely courtyard out the back, downstairs was another area that would be excellent to make use of for a party. will certainly be heading back soon!
