Sichuan Dandan Noodle soup with Minced Pork ordered from Deliveroo and might even be the best noodle soup I’ve ever had. FYI very much on the spicy side. Soooo good.

Great authentic food and affordable but very focused on the Chinese customer. I would definitely recommend going out of your comfort zone to try this.
Staff mainly speaks Chinese, and only accepts cash 💵 so please come prepared (see menu below).
Recently went through a name change, so look for Mao Chinese Restaurant.
Recommend going for their hot pot and select your own ingredients, with a little bit of rice this is more than enough food.

Cheap and very authentic and good food. If you’re vegetarian watch out, make clear that you DO NOT want to have meat with your food. Besides that it’s a hidden gem :)

This was amazing, served promptly and politely. I had the Szechuan minced beef noodles and the Szechuan dumplings and they were both delicious. I'll definitely be going back when im in the area.

The mapo tofu was very ma la and was balanced and subtle. The aubergine was pleasantly yu xiang.

Wonderful little place just by Gt Portland Street, service is amazing and food is wonderful. Always full of Chinese locals so a good sign that you will have a great authentic meal.
The Chow Mein was superb and came out so quickly.
