GPL has just introduced a new burger menu which has pairing suggestions for beer. I went on Sunday 04/09/22 and had the Japanese, I.E. a chicken Pattie with katsu marinade. Now, I normally avoid chicken burgers because they are always invariably dry and tasteless. Well, this was the exact opposite! It was so juicy, the marinade had clearly seeped well into the meat. It was outstanding! I don’t do beer, so I paired mine with a pale rosé. Sublime😘😘😘 The price-point is fair for the quality on offer. I will be go back soon to try the other burger selections!

Had a very strong rum punch, and as they were not serving food we were allowed to eat our own food on the outside tables. Quiet Thursday. Lovely evening to people watch and listen to jazz band playing outside another establishment.

Brilliant addition to Herne Hill... Lovely decor, nice seating area outside, helpful, polite staff and amazing cocktails, although be warned, it's a little on the pricey side... I loved the Espresso Martini. Thoroughly recommended!

Roast dinner delivered to your door on a Sunday who could ask for more!
Generous portions, veg cooked well, chicken, stuffing and potatoes were all really tasty and well seasoned.
Would highly recommend giving Green Parrot lounge a try.

The team are putting an outstanding COVID-19 food and drink service! Excellent streak sandwiches and a variation of wraps and great coffees and fresh fruit juices! Recommended!!

I hired Green Parrot for my birthday on Friday evening and cannot recommend it highly enough. The manager Haikel is a dream and made loads of special touches - a happy birthday banner, a cake and candle and even a specially designed birthday cocktail, which was made dangerously delicious by Sammy the lovely barman. The Thai food is also fab.

Recently revamped, relaxed, comfortable, cosy corner in the heart of Herne Hill. Lovely place to listen to great music whilst enjoying a coffee or a little tipple! What ever suits your mood. They also serve good food and the staff are very friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Just had a wonderful dinner at Green Parrot last night before a concert at the great Off The Cuff opposite side of the street !
The food was absolutely delicious, still can't get over that red curry and sticky rice !
We'll definitely be back !

Definitively a good experience with Thai food in Herne Hill, I had the Pai Thai (noddles) with pork and was delicious, my Gf, had the Gang Kiew Wan (Green curry) which she found rather sweet, but the prank crackers were super good and fresh and we had some delicious dumplings as starters. Lovely seating outside and superb service. We will come again!!

Easily the best Thai food I have had in Europe - in fact, the last time I had Thai food this tasty was in Bangkok. We were a table of five and had a broad selection of everything and it was all authentically. Thai and delicious. And the service was sublime! Let's support this local and make it a success.
